Robin and his brother, Brooks, took their families to Jenks Lake (alt. 8000 feet) then decided the next day to pack it all up and go down to Joshua Tree (alt. 4000 feet). Robin took the minivan with the trailer on a three hour drive that covered 30 miles of "improved dirt road." HA! It was a beautiful adventure, though. See the movie.
